The mad dream that is a yoga intensive

uncontrolled crossingReal email exchange at work today:

Me: Would you please let me know soonest if it’s ok to book off the above dates as annual leave?
Manager: Sure.
Me: Thank you! I’ve logged it in the holiday tracker now. So I’m now committed to 28 hours of yoga in 3 days…
Manager: Wow. Have you told your hamstring?
Me: I’ve told it 1) we’re not going to show off or try anything fancy and 2) there’s a bunch of theory and philosophy where its participation isn’t required. My right knee will get the same message if it asks…

So that’s me signed up for a three day intensive!

I’m excited and terrified in equal measure.

I’ll post about it when I’m through. It’s going to be an amazing experience for me whatever happens.

  1. Wow how exciting! Can’t wait to hear about it! I’m sure you and your hamstring will work together to enjoy it and not have any more upsets 🙂
